Construction Update: Section 5 of High Voltage Cable Installation Works

Throughout October and November there will be some planned high voltage cable installations taking place between the new Energy Centre in Tudor Grange Park and Station Road, adjacent to John Lewis, as part of the Solihull Town Centre Low Carbon Energy Network.

The works will be carried out as part of a phased programme to mitigate any impact on the town centre.

Section 5 (Corner of Station Road/Princes Way to John Lewis entrance) of these works will start on Monday 13 October.

This section is expected to take 3 weeks. Businesses entrances will remain open at all times and the crossing of the Herbert Road junction will be completed at night to avoid any impact to the John Lewis Car park.
