Throughout October there will be some planned high voltage cable installations taking place between the new Energy Centre in Tudor Grange Park and Station Road, adjacent to John Lewis, as part of the Solihull Town Centre Low Carbon Energy Network.
The works will be carried out as part of a phased programme to mitigate any impact on the town centre.
Section 3 of these works will start on Monday 6th October, and the expected duration is 5 nights, starting at Prince’s Way Crossing.
Section 3 works are scheduled to start from 6:30pm each evening, requiring overnight lane closures. All traffic management will be removed by 6am daily to allow traffic to flow during the morning rush hours and day.
Works is expected to take place over 5 consecutive nights. There will be no need for any full road closure, during this time.
